“Kodokawa” has released the first spot for the animation “ Kantai Collection -Kan Colle ” which arrives directly on Blu-Ray and DVD. In the video the opening theme song “Miiro” (Sea Color) by artist AKINO.
Kantai Collection, or KanColle is one of the most popular card games in Japan. After its release in April 2013, an adaptation for PC-Game was created. The story, which is set in a world where humanity has lost control of the seas. The only ones who can combat this threat are Kan- musume (literally, battleship girls).
Keizou Kusakawa (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha) is directing the anime at studio Diomedea (Shinryaku! Ika Musume). Jukki Hanada ((Love Live! School idol project, Steins;Gate)) is in charge of the series' scripts.
The premiere takes place on January 7th on the Tokyo Mx channel.
