Kadokawa has released the first promotional video for its new production called Kantai Collection an adaptation of the Kantai Collection -Kan Colle-Card card
game Keizou Kusakawa (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha) is directing the anime at studio Diomedea (Shinryaku! Ika Musume). Jukki Hanada (Love Live! School idol project, Steins;Gate) is in charge of the series scripts.
Kadokawa Games released the original free-to-play game through the company DMM.com service provider in April 2013. In the game, players compete with cards featuring moe female characters inspired by Japanese warships from World War II, such as aircraft carriers, battleships, and cruisers. Players build, organize, and repair their fleet to progress through the maps.
