anime adaptation of Sōichirō Yamamoto's manga, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san , revealed the opening theme song and visual for the anime's second season on Wednesday.
Therefore, Yuiko Ōhara will return to sing the theme song "Zero Centimeters." With the premiere confirmed for the July 2019 season, the Takagi-san anime, as well as the manga, features the return of almost the entire staff from the first season and adds a few new names to the roster.
Takagi-san Synopsis:
"The story revolves around Nishikata, a high school student who has suffered numerous humiliations due to the teasing of his classmate, Takagi. Since then, he has vowed to get revenge and, one day, be able to tease her."
Fukuda Hiroko, Itami Aki, and Katou Konichi are the new scriptwriters, and Une Shin'ya is the assistant director. The website also released a music video for the anime's first season opening, "Iwanai kedo ne," also by Yuiko Ōhara.
Finally, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2018, with 12 episodes.
