The official Twitter account for the Kengan Ashura announced that the 2nd season of the anime will premiere in 2023 on Netflix .

The sequel will highlight the finals of the Kengan Annihilation tournament and the conclusion of the original story.
Synopsis
In the manga's story, companies and merchants wager large sums of money to hire fighters for unarmed hand-to-hand combat. Winner-takes-all in these Kengan competitions, which originated during the Edo period. Merchants use the fights as a means of settling disputes among themselves. The strong and mysterious Ouma Tokita, nicknamed Ashura, enters these matches. The president of the Nogi Group, Hideki Nogi, keeps his ambitions to himself when he meets Ashura. Events begin to revolve around Kengan fights when Ashura enters the fray.
The anime's first season premiered worldwide on Netflix in July 2019. The second part, consisting of episodes 13 through 24, premiered in October of the same year.
Despite being released by Netflix, Kengan Ashura had its premiere at the Anime Expo in July 2018. Shortly after winning a fan contest voting to decide which manga would receive an anime adaptation.
The first season of the anime was directed by Seiji Kishi ( Yuki Yuna is a Hero ) at Larx Entertainment . Makoto Uezu ( Akame ga KILL! ) provided the anime composition, and Kazuaki Morita ( Tsuki ga Kirei ) provided the character designs. Yasuharu Takanashi ( Fairy Tail , Naruto Shippuden ) of Team-MAX composed the soundtrack.
Finally, author Sandrovich released Kengan Ashura with illustrations by Daromeon on the Manga ONE in 2012 and ended the series in August 2018, but the manga received a new arc in January 2019.
