Funimation has revealed that it is co-producing the anime of Hirotsugu Ryusen's Kenja no Deshi o Nanoru Kenja . The anime will premiere later this year, and Funimation will stream the series exclusively.
Members for the anime's team, a promotional video, and an image showing the look that will be featured in the anime were also revealed.

Synopsis
In VRMMO “Arc Earth Online”, Kagami Sakimori plays as Dumbruff, one of the Nine Sages. But after falling asleep while playing, he is transported to a world where the game has come true and realizes that he cannot leave the game world. What's more, instead of the veteran Wiseman, he takes the form of a beautiful innocent girl... When asked who he is, he calls himself Mira, a disciple of Wiseman, to avoid losing the Dumbruff dignity he built. So he travels the world in search of the other Nine Sages, at the request of his friend King Solomon.
The light novel of Kenja no Deshi o Nanoru Kenja by Hirotsugu Ryusen launched on the website “ Shousetsuka ni Narou ” in April 2012. Micro Magazine is publishing the printed version of the novel, the first printed volume then came out in June 2014.
