Kimetsu no Yaiba 3 – Anime suffers criticism for the quality of 3DCG
Check it out:
One of the Upper Moons in Muzan , it releases fish-like creatures to terrorize the blacksmith village and kill its inhabitants . However, these demons only die when the vessels containing them are destroyed, and while their strength easily surpasses the demon hunters, they pose no threat to the current Pillars, Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito .
So, Ufotable studio opted for a 3D animation that immediately sparked buzz on social media . As always, the animation is impeccable, but the drawing and plotting style has begun to receive criticism. Apparently, "the creature stands out too much on screen" compared to the 2D-animated Kotetsu.
Check out the comments:
- It's bad 3D, but it only lasts a few seconds, so it's okay.
- People who criticize this are definitely asking for trouble.
- Why did you decide to use CGI? It's just a fish!
- To be honest, it's good CGI, definitely higher quality than what MAPPA does. Overall, it's average CGI, but the design is great.
- Well, I think they've improved on the CGI they used in previous seasons, but it's still average. I don't know why it surprises you; CGI isn't Ufotable's strong suit.
- What the hell, this isn't Kimetsu no Yaiba
- The beginning of Kimetsu no Yaiba's decline. This is already one of the most boring arcs, and you put 3D on it?
- I've seen worse, but this one just seems lazy, especially when it comes from Ufotable
- It was a mistake to put 3D where everything else is 2D. The correct thing to do was to show the fish alone in the scene.
