Kimetsu no Yaiba gets a movie based on the Demon Train arc

In addition to the news that took fans by surprise, as well as the film gaining its title, Gekijouban Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha Hen , for now without a confirmed release date.

Demon Train arc is the 7th story arc, spanning from chapters 52 to 66. In the story, Enmu is responsible for eliminating Tanjirou Kamado to gain his prominent position. Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke go in search of the Infinity Train to find Kyoujourou Rengoku, the pillar of flame.

As expected, the series ended up boosting sales of the manga, which now has more than 10 million copies, an increase of 4 million copies in just 4 months.

The series was animated by ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai), directed by Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Zestiria the X) and character design by Akira Matsushima (Maria Watches Over Us, Tales of Zestiria the X).

A teaser for the Kimetsu no Yaiba movie has also been revealed.
