The highly anticipated sequel to the game Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppuutan 2 ( The Hinokami Chronicles ) has just revealed three new playable characters who promise to shake up the battles.

Therefore, the dreaded Upper Moon demons Gyokko (玉壺) and Zohakuten (憎珀天), as well as the determined demon hunter Genya Shinazugawa (不死川玄弥), will be featured. The title will be released on August 1, 2025 , with versions for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) .
However, to celebrate the new release, Aniplex released gameplay videos showcasing each character's unique abilities, highlighting their fighting styles and visuals faithful to the anime. Thus, the animations maintain the high quality standard already known from developer CyberConnect2 , with incredible 3D models and fluid movement.
In addition to the individual trailers, previously unseen images and official artwork based on the game's models were released, reinforcing the visual care given to each character. The previews show that the sequel is even more intense, promising exciting combat and new strategies for fans of the franchise.
With the addition of these characters, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppuutan 2 establishes itself as an exciting evolution of the original game, further expanding the Demon Slayer on consoles.
