Record after record. The film Kimetsu no Yaiba ( Demon Slayer : the Movie: Mugen Train) by author Koyoharu Gotouge has become the highest-grossing film in Japanese history. According to the record, the film surpassed the classic "Spirited Away" (2001), by Studio Ghibli .
