We know that the third season Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime will arrive this year, as we reported here . That said, during a special event, a promotional video was revealed featuring the Upper Moons (the anime's villains) who will appear in the new season.

The third season premieres after the release of the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour, which premiered on February 2 in Japan. The film features the last two episodes of the second season as well as the first episode of the third season . However, reports indicate that the film will premiere on March 9 in Latin America.
The 3rd season of the Blacksmith Village arc premieres on April 23, 2023 on the Crunchyroll streaming platform this year.
Synopsis:
The new season of Demon Slayer will tell the manga's Blacksmith Village arc. In the story, Tanjiro awakens from a coma after defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District and must travel to the village to forge a new sword, as his old one has been damaged. However, along the way, he encounters new demons who, following orders from Muzan, the main villain of the plot, intend to eliminate all the hunters.
The first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered in April 2019 , becoming a hit with the film. Finally, the second season premiered on December 5, 2021, in Japan.
