The official Twitter account for the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba announced this Wednesday that the third season of the same, titled: “ Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-Hen ” will premiere on April 9th with a one-hour special.
Furthermore, the second promotional video and the main image of the season were also made public through the same account.

The video shown above features the opening theme song “Kizuna no Kiseki”, by the band MAN WITH A MISSION and singer milet.
The 3rd season premieres after the release of the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour which was shown on February 2nd in Japan. The film features the last two episodes of the second season as well as the first episode of the third season . However, information states that this film opens on March 9th in Latin America.
The first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered in April 2019 , making the film a successful phenomenon. Finally, the second season premiered on December 5, 2021 in Japan.
Synopsis
Tanjiro wakes up from a coma after defeating Lua Superior 6 in the Entertainment District and needs to go to the village to forge a new sword, as his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he comes across new demons who, after orders from Muzan, the main villain of the plot, intend to eliminate all the hunters.
