I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from Shueisha revealed that Kimetsu no Yaiba will be getting a new light novel, which will be released on 16th July.

The novel is titled Kimetsu no Yaiba Novelize: Yūkaku Sennyū Daisakusen-hen. Shuka Matsuda is writing the story, while Gotouge is providing the illustrations.

It's worth remembering that Kimetsu no Yaiba has already inspired four other light novels, all written by Aya Yajima.

The new release will cover the same arc as volumes 8-11 of the manga, which are also the volumes that the next anime will cover. The new season of the anime will premiere this year.

Author Koyoharu Gotouge launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016. The manga ended in May 2020. The publisher released the 23rd and final volume of the manga in December 2020.

The manga inspired an anime adaptation, which premiered in April 2019.
