Synopsis:

At a school that takes in orphaned children and trains them to become magical weapons of war, 14-year-old Sheena Totsuki suddenly loses her roommate. Despite the pain, she tries to stay strong and move on. However, that same night, a bloodied girl appears before her. Despite being seriously injured, the mysterious girl is incredibly cheerful, leaving Sheena completely disconcerted. The next day, to her surprise, the stranger joins her class as a new student and introduces herself as Mimi Kagari . Sheena soon learns that Mimi is known as the school's "secret weapon," as rumor has it she simply cannot die.

Now sharing the same room, Sheena and Mimi begin to grow closer, despite their opposing views on the cruel reality they live in.
