The 2 new previews of Kimisen ( Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World ) highlight the turbulent relationship between the main characters, showing each one's perspective on the other.
The first preview is that of Iska , 16 years old. Talented wielder of the twin sword “Hoshiken”. His goal is to stop the war, but he has a light and gentle personality, he does not give in to anything against his beliefs.
The second preview is by Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX , 17 years old. A powerful witch who is feared by the empire as an “ice witch”. She believes in a better world, but in battle she suppresses her emotions even though she is naturally sensitive and kind.
Synopsis
There has been a great war for years between the scientifically advanced Empire and Nebulis, the kingdom of magical girls - even when the youngest knight to be given the title of strongest in the Empire meets the princess of the rival nation. They are sworn enemies... however the knight is attracted by her beauty and honor, while the princess is moved by her strength and way of living. Will the fight between them ever end?

Shin Oonuma ( BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense , Dusk maiden of Amnesia, WATAMOTE ) and Mirai Minato (BOFURI, Masamune-kun's Revenge) are directing the anime from studio SILVER LINK . Kento Shimoyama (Death March to The Parallel Word Rhapsody) will write the anime's script. Finally, Kaori Sato (animation director on BOFURI, Dusk maiden of Amnesia, Masamune-kun's Revenge) is serving as character designer and chief animation director.
The anime premieres on October 7th.
Additionally, Kadokawa began publishing the novels in print in Japan in May 2017. Okama launched the manga adaptation in Hakusensha magazine's Young Animal in May 2018.
