KimiSen Our Last Crusade: Anime is suspended indefinitely

A bombshell for fans! Unfortunately, the second season of the anime "KimiSen: Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World" has been suspended indefinitely due to production issues.

The statement reads as follows:

To maintain the quality of the series, broadcast and distribution will be postponed from the fifth episode onwards. When the anime returns, it will resume airing from the first episode on a new date yet to be announced. To fans eagerly awaiting new episodes, we apologize for this unexpected hiatus and thank you for your continued support.

As a reminder, the first season of "KimiSen" premiered in fall 2020, containing twelve episodes. The series adapts the light novels by Kei Sazane and Ao Nekonabe, published by Fantasia Bunko since 2017. Additionally, a manga adaptation, illustrated by Okama, debuted in Young Animal magazine from May 2018 to March 2021, totaling seven volumes.
