The official website for the Kingdom anime has announced that the third season is scheduled to resume in April 2021. A new teaser for the return of the new season was also revealed.
The anime's production committee announced on April 26th earlier this year that it would postpone the broadcast of episode 5 and subsequent episodes of the third season. The committee explained that production was proceeding with sufficient time allotted, but the Japanese government's declaration of a state of emergency against COVID-19 severely impacted the production schedule. The anime was then rescheduled to return in spring 2021.
The third season of the anime Kingdom premiered on April 5th.
