Boruto: Two Blue Vortex fans are eagerly awaiting what's to come, according to Masashi Kishimoto. The saga has already revealed the Shinju as the main villains, but as they fall one by one, the return of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha draws ever closer.

According to Masashi Kishimoto, both will have grand battles when they return to the plot. Naruto will be freed after the confrontation between Boruto and Kawaki, while Sasuke may return after the fall of Hidari. In this way, the duo will once again occupy the central space that fans expect.

The return of the legends in Boruto Two Blue Vortex

Naruto lost Kurama in the fight against Isshiki, and Sasuke had his Rinnegan ripped away. Furthermore, Kishimoto kept them out of action: Naruto was sealed by Kawaki and Sasuke was transformed into a tree. This absence left many fans frustrated, but now there is hope that the duo will return in full form.

With the new generation of ninjas now grown up, there's no reason to weaken Naruto and Sasuke. Therefore, everything indicates that they will be ready to face Shibai Otsutsuki , the possible final villain of the story.

The Otsutsuki threat remains

Otsutsuki

Despite the fall of the Shinju, the Otsutsuki Clan remains the true danger. Shibai, already mentioned in Naruto Next Generations, is set to gain even more prominence in upcoming chapters. When that happens, Naruto, Sasuke, Boruto, Kawaki, and Sarada will need to unite to stop the threat.

Meanwhile, fans can look forward to the release of the next chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex on September 19, 2025 , available for free on Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump app.
