The continuation of the Kizumonogatari franchise of author NisiOisin's successful Bakemonogatari arrives in summer 2016. Plans for Kizumonogatari are a trilogy of films that take the title of this second film Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen (Passionate Blood).
The first film Kizumonogatari I Tekketsu-hen (Iron and Blood) will premiere in Japan on January 8th next year, lasting 60 minutes.
Kizumonogatari is a one-volume story that shows some of the events before the main arc Bakemonogatari, a light novel by the same author.
