According to an update on the Kizumonogatari , the trailer for the first film, titled “ Kizumonogatari I Tekketsu-hen ” (Blood and Iron), was released and is scheduled to premiere on January 8, 2016.
The other two films will be called Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen (Passionate Blood) and Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen (Cold Blood), both of which have no release date in Japan yet.
Kizumonogatari is the third volume of NisiOisin's Monogatari franchise and a prequel to Bakemonogatari. The story follows Koyomi as he encounters a vampire who changed his life forever, and the beginning of his journey to return to his normal life.
