According to an update on the Kizumonogatari , the trailer for the first film was released, titled “ Kizumonogatari I Tekketsu-hen ” (Blood and Iron), which is scheduled to premiere on January 8, 2016.
The other two films will be called Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen (Passionate Blood) and Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen (Cold Blood), both of which still have no arrival date in Japan.
Kizumonogatari is the 3rd volume of NisiOisin's Monogatari franchise and is the prequel to Bakemonogatari. The story follows Koyomi who encounters a vampire who changed her life forever and the beginning of her journey to return to her normal life.
