Knights of the Zodiac arrives as Knights of The Zodiac

Nobody expected this, folks. The classic anime "Knights of the Zodiac," a huge hit in the 1990s, is getting a new series developed exclusively by Netflix. The series, now called " Knights of the Zodiac," will feature 12 30-minute episodes and will be written by Eugene Son , the writer of "Avengers: Secret Wars .

The announcement was made during an event in Tokyo, Japan.

Knights of the Zodiac is one of the biggest animation franchises in the world, with a total revenue of over US$1.1 billion since 1986 and Kurumada's original manga has sold over 35 million copies worldwide.
