It fell like a bomb!!, during the third day of CCXP (Comic Con Experience) the trailer for Knights of the Zodiac dubbed was shown revealing that the character Shun of Andromeda will be a woman in the new adaptation produced by Netflix .

Shun, as everyone knows, is one of the legendary members of the Bronze Knights, where his brother, Phoenix Ikki, helps him in tense times.

The repercussion of this announcement of Shun being a woman received harsh criticism from fans, both from the more purist ones, who didn't like the change, and from those who think it was an extremely lazy change by Netflix, as well as prejudiced, changing a character considered effeminate by fans to a woman.

Obviously, the more liberal people won't like seeing the old archetype of the princess being saved by the knight, despite this also happening to Athena throughout the anime.
