The third promotional video for the Knights of Sidonia has been released by King Records Tsutomu Nihei 's manga . The anime, which will premiere in April, will have 12 episodes. The series' opening theme song can be heard in the video.
Netflix will stream the series "exclusively first," with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles, across all Netflix platforms .

Synopsis – After humans fled Earth due to a devastating invasion of alien creatures called Gauna , they embarked on a journey through space in gigantic spaceships while the Gauna continued to pursue them. As a new human culture developed, people began to battle the Gauna using Morito (Guardian) robots. A young man named Nagate Tanikaze trains to become a Morito pilot aboard the spaceship Sidonia , defending its population against Gauna attacks.
