Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon releases theme song clip and new cast members

The official website for the film Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon: Samishigariya no Ryū released this Friday, 27th, the film's theme song without credits, as well as new cast members.

The music video features the theme song "Namida no Parade" sung by the band fhána , and the full opening scenes, without production credits. Check it out below:

New and Returning Cast Members

The production announced Shinya Takahashi and Azusa Tadokoro as the fairies' voice actors in the film. The team released a special image, showing looks and their respective actors. Check out the image with Shinya on the left and Azusa on the right:

Additionally, the website revealed a special illustration in collaboration with Coolkyoushinja (the manga's creator) and character designer Miku Kadowaki . See below:

Release Details

The film premiered this Friday, the 27th, in theaters in Japan , with immersive sessions in 4DX and MX4D . Crunchyroll acquired the worldwide screening rights (except in Asia) and will present the film on its streaming service soon.

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon film synopsis

Coolkyoushinja created the manga Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Monthly Action magazine launched in 2013 and later migrated to Manga Action  in 2024. The work has already received anime adaptations, including two seasons and spin-offs.

The peaceful lives of Miss Kobayashi, Tohru, Kanna, and Iruru are shattered when Kanna's father, Kamun Kamui, leader of the Forces of Chaos , arrives and forces her to return to the Dragon World to right a wrong from the past. With a war brewing between Chaos and Harmony , Kanna must find a way to unite the two worlds, but is torn between her loyalty to her friends and her father's demands. Miss Kobayashi, however, refuses to let her go and tries to mend Kanna and Kamui's broken bond. As the dragons clash, Iruru discovers a hidden force manipulating the war. Can they stop the war before it consumes both worlds?
