The official Twitter responsible for the anime Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui announced that it will premiere on AT-X , Tokyo MX , Hokkaido Bunka Housou , Miyazaki Broadcasting , Gunma TV , and Tochigi TV on April 5th , and will then be streamed on Amazon Prime Video starting March 29th .
Furthermore, it is also known that the manga will end with its eighth volume on March 25th . The cover art for the volume has been revealed (see below).
Synopsis
The story follows the relationship between Ryou Amakusa, a sex-crazed bachelor with a wandering eye for women, and Ichika Arima, a normal otaku high school student who is close friends with Ryou's younger sister, Rio. Ryou and Ichika meet by chance one day, but Ryou's direct approach – asking Ichika for a kiss and a date on the same day they met – sounds completely absurd to Ichika. Despite Ichika's disgusted reaction, Ryou is convinced that she is unique.
Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui has been serialized on the manga website Comic Pool since 2016. The seventh volume of the manga was published in January 2020.
