Netflix Japan 's official X account , confirmed on Tuesday (28) announced that it is producing an adaptation of the manga Kokumin Quiz (National Quiz) of the duo Reiichi Sugimoto and Shinichi Kato.
The original work was serialized between 1993 and 1995, in the magazine Morning of Kodansha . In 2001, the publisher Ohta Publishing relaunched the mandate in a two -volume compilation.
The director of the series will be Teruyuki Yoshida (My Brother's Husband), who is also co-writing the scripts with Maggy , and the songs will be from Yasunori Nishiki .
Along with the announcement, Netflix revealed that actor Takayuki Yamada (Elizabeth of Gintama) was confirmed as the main character of manga Ki K-Ichi .
