Oda Tomohito popular manga Komi Can't Communicate ( Komi-san wa Komyushou Desu ) is nearing its conclusion.

It has been announced that the story will end in just three chapters, marking the end of one of the most beloved romantic comedies of recent years.

The story follows the charming and seemingly perfect Komi, a student admired from afar by everyone for her beauty and aura of "coolness." However, behind this impeccable image, Komi struggles with extreme shyness that prevents her from speaking to others. Everything changes when her classmate, Tadano , discovers this vulnerable side of Komi. Although determined to help her, he becomes the young woman's first friend and encourages her to pursue a bold goal: to make 100 friends and, in doing so, transform her life for the better.

Since its debut, the manga has won over fans worldwide with its lighthearted humor, heartwarming moments, and captivating characters. However, the series also received a critically acclaimed anime adaptation, cementing its place as one of the most iconic titles in the rom-com genre.

The series has been serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since May 2016, with 35 compiled volumes (tankōbon) released through October 2024. In North America, the series is licensed by Viz Media.
