Synopsis
The story follows Shouko Komi, a new student at the elite Itan school, who quickly wins over her classmates with her beauty and elegance. Her classmate Hitohito Tadano-kun, the boy sitting next to her, discovers that she has serious problems communicating with others.

The anime is based on the manga Komi-san wa Komyushou desu, written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda. It has been serialized since May 2016, with chapters collected into twenty volumes as of February 2021.
