Kadokawa released a second promotional video for the Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! anime .
The trailer announces more cast and crew members, as well as the anime's premiere date of April 2023.
The newly announced cast members are:

- Kaori Nazuka as Arue
- Miyu Tomita as Funifura
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Dodonko
- Shizuka Ishigami as Nerimaki

The spinoff will star Rie Takahashi as Megumin and Aki Toyosaki as Yunuyun. The new adaptation focuses on Megumin and her Crimson Magic Clan.
The animation is by Studio Drive ( To Your Eternity ).
The series is directed by Yuujirou Abe ( Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai ), with series composition by Makoto Uezu ( Fate/Grand Carnival ) and character design by Kouichi Kikuta ( Blue Reflection Ray ).
Synopsis
The story follows Crimson Magic Clan members Megumin and Yunyun, who are at the top of their class, but they still have much to learn. Yunyun has begun learning advanced magic, but Megumin has followed a different path – the path of explosion magic! Despite being warned of its limited usefulness, Megumin believes that explosion magic is the path for her to become a great sorceress.
Akatsuki wrote the spin-off novel from July 2014 to March 2019, published in Kadokawa's The Sneaker Web magazine, with illustrations by Kurone Mishima ( Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi for Akashic Records ).
