Fans of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! can get ready for more fun and chaos! Crunchyroll has confirmed that the third season's OVAs, titled KonoSuba -BONUS STAGE- , will arrive on the platform in April 2025.
The announcement came during the reveal of titles premiering at this year's Sakura-Con. In addition to the new KonoSuba , the premieres of Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole and Solo Camping for Two , scheduled for July 2025.
What to expect from the KonoSuba OVAs?
However, the OVAs for the third season premiered in Japanese theaters in March, being shown for a limited period of two weeks. Divided into two episodes – Red Stream Explosion! and Nisemono Chui! –, these specials bring a new wave of confusion and comedy to the most misfit adventurers in the isekai world.
The OVAs also introduce new characters who hilariously parody a group of "exemplary" adventurers – a far cry from the chaotic team we already know and love. Thus, the animation continues under the responsibility of Studio Drive, which also produced the third season of the anime.
Created by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, KonoSuba began as a web novel before receiving a light novel adaptation by Kadokawa between 2013 and 2020. However, its success was so great that it spawned numerous spin-offs, manga adaptations, games, and, of course, animated series and films. Currently, all seasons of the anime, including the spin-off An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, are available on Crunchyroll.
