The animation was created using Mikumikudance (MMD) , a widely popular free software among Japanese pop culture fans. Originally developed to bring the iconic Hatsune Miku , MMD allows the creation of accessible 3D animations. However, in this case, the final result caused mixed reactions: while some praised effort and boldness, others criticized the bizarre aspect of the movement.
The chaotic universe of Konosuba
For those who do not know, Konosuba accompanies the life of Kazuma Sato , a young man who dies unexpectedly and, soon after, wakes up before Aqua , a goddess. She offers her the opportunity to reincarnate in a fantastic world and can choose only one item to take with him. Thus begins his journey full of chaos, brochures and hilarious situations.
The franchise was born as a light novel and later won even more public with the anime. The first season premiered in January 2016, while the second arrived in January 2017.
