A new trailer for the KonoSuba anime film , titled KonoSuba : Kurenai Densetsu, began airing on the anime's official website this Saturday (20). The film will premiere on August 30 in Japanese cinemas, and there are still no confirmations of screenings in other countries.
The film is being directed by Takaomi Kanasaki , who also directed the two seasons of the anime, and animated by JC Staff . Kouichi Kikuta is responsible for the character designs, Masato Koda for the music, and Makoto Uezu for the film's screenplay. Konosuba had two anime seasons in 2016 and 2017, which were animated by Studio Deen .
Finally, the light novel by Natsume Akatsuki and Kurone Mishima currently has 16 volumes and is still being published. There is no news regarding a third season of the anime at this time.
