The new season of the anime "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!" premieres on April 10th, expected to be one of the month's most notable animes. However, KonoSuba's premiere was affected by the leak of the first episode of its third season.

Therefore, the leaked episode is only available with English subtitles on the Nyaa website, the popular website dedicated to anime piracy.

The leak of this episode came as a huge surprise to fans, as although it has happened in the past, it's not something that's very common. However, all of this raises an important question: where is the security in digital content distribution, and what will Japan think when it finds out?

According to sources on X (Twitter), this leaked first episode has sparked debate on social media about the ethics of consuming pirated content. Additionally, some fans are expressing concern about the potential impact this incident could have on how Japanese companies distribute anime in the West.

Although the reason for this incident has not yet been confirmed, some point to a possible vulnerability in the Crunchyroll streaming platform, which continues to use servers from the now-defunct Funimation.

Takaomi Kanyasaki directing Drive Animation Studio , while Makoto Uezu takes over the script. Additionally, Yujiro Abe also joins the directorial team, working alongside Kanyasaki.

Synopsis:

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato's brief and disappointing life should have ended, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be Aqua, a goddess, and asks him if he would like to go to another world, taking with him only one thing from this world.

In 2013, the story of KonoSuba reached its conclusion, and the version published by Kadokawa reached its conclusion in 2020. Finally, Panini published the manga that adapted the novel.
