Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) gets full trailer. The new series arrives on the Noitamina block in April 2016 and has the collaboration of Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass) with the team from the excellent Attack on Titan (Tetsuro Araki).
Animation is all done by Wit Studio, directed by Tetsuro Araki with script by Ichiro Okouchi, character design by Haruhiko Mikimoto (Macross 7).
The story involves a lot of steampunk-style action and survival, taking place on Hinomoto, an island where humans hide in fortresses called stations against the threat of zombie-like beings with hearts of steel known as “Kabane”. Only armored locomotives, known as “Hayajiro” move between stations.
