Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) gets a full trailer. The new series arrives on the Noitamina block in April 2016 and features the collaboration of Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass) with the team from the excellent Attack on Titan (Tetsuro Araki).
The animation is entirely produced by Wit Studio, directed by Tetsuro Araki, with a script by Ichiro Okouchi and character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto (Macross 7).
The story involves a lot of action and survival in a steampunk style, taking place on Hinomoto, an island where humans hide in fortresses called stations against the threat of zombie-like beings with hearts of steel known as "Kabane". Only armored locomotives, known as "Hayajiro", travel between the stations.
