Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) gets a full trailer. The new series arrives in the Noitamina block in April 2016 and features the collaboration of Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass) with the team from the excellent Attack on Titan (Tetsuro Araki).
Animation is all done by Wit Studio, direction is by Tetsuro Araki, the script is by Ichiro Okouchi, character design is by Haruhiko Mikimoto (Macross 7).
The story involves steampunk-style action and survival, set on Hinomoto, an island where humans hide in fortresses called stations against the threat of steel-hearted, zombie-like beings known as "Kabane." Only armored locomotives known as "Hayajiro" move between the stations.
