This Friday, Media Factory began streaming a promotional video announcing that Matsume Yoshimoto's manga will receive a television anime adaptation.
The cast includes Natsumi Hioka as Machi Amayadori (the protagonist) and Hiroki Yasumoto as Natsu Kumai, and the anime is directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda (Durarara!!).
The manga tells the story of Machi, a high school student who serves as a priestess at a Shinto shrine and takes care of a bear named Natsu, who lives in the area. Natsu has the ability to speak and is Machi's guardian.
