The official website released a teaser for the second season of Kuroko's Basketball . This new video highlights the team's previous lineup: Tetsuya Kuroko, Taiga Kagami, Ryota Kise, Shintaro Midorima, Daiki Aomine, Atsushi Murasakibara, and Seijuro Akashi.

The teaser notes go on to say that, one year after the anime's first season ended in 2012, the second season will likely begin in the fall. Both seasons adapt the manga by the same author Tadatoshi Fujimaki .
