The official website for the anime Kuroko's Basketball has been updated, announcing a 30-second promotional video. The video features excerpts from the opening song "Punky Funky Love" by the band GRANRODEO.
The third season is scheduled to arrive on Japanese TV on January 10th, on MBS, Tokyo MX and BS11 channels.
Author Fujimaki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2008, and Shueisha published the compiled volume on October 29th. As of April, the series had over 27 million copies in circulation. The first animated season of Kuroko's Basketball was based on the manga and ran from April to September 2012.
The second season premiered in October of last year and ran until March. The third season is scheduled for next year, although the exact month has not yet been announced.
