The official website for the Kuroko no basket anime has been updated, announcing a 30-second promotional video. The video shows excerpts from the opening song Punky Funky Love by the band GRANRODEO.
The third season is scheduled to arrive on Japanese TV on January 10th, on MBS, Tokyo MX and BS11 channels.
Author Fujimaki launched the manga in the weekly magazine Shonen Jump in 2008, Shueisha published the compiled volume on October 29. As of April, the series had over 27 million copies in circulation. The first animated season of Kuroko no Basket was based on the manga and ran in April and ran until September 2012.
The second season premiered in October last year and ran until March. The third season is scheduled for next year, although the exact month has not yet been announced.
