Square Enix (the manga's publisher) also created a website to announce the news and confirm that Daisuke Ono will continue to voice Sebastian and that Maaya Sakamoto will also continue in the role of Ciel .

Kuroshitsuji is a manga written and illustrated by Yana Toboso and premiered on September 16, 2006, and has since been published by Monthly GFantasy . Its anime adaptation was announced in July 2008, directed by Shinohara Toshiya and produced by A-1 Pictures (Fairy Tail, Ao no Exorcist, Sword Art Online). It premiered in October of the same year. The second season of the anime was released in July 2010. From this, the franchise launched Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus in January 2014, which corresponds to the arc of the same name in the manga, and in November of the same year, Kuroshitsuji: Book of Murders corresponding to the Phantomhive Manor Murders in the manga.
