Therefore, the new season of the anime Kuroshitsuji (Black Bullet) premieres in 2025, directed by Kenjiro Okada and animated by CloverWorks (The Promised Neverland, Spy x Family).

Kuroshitsuji 'Emerald Witch ' Arc:

The story begins with two men on horseback, hunting a fox. His dogs disappear into a forest to chase the creature. Both men are apprehensive about entering, as the forest is supposedly cursed, but decide to press on. There, they meet a woman who warns them to turn back. Ignoring his cautious words, they advance. After finding their dogs, they come across a werewolf. They run out of the forest and arrive at an unfamiliar mansion. Residents come out to ask about their well-being. Both men end up passing out with bloody noses.

Therefore, Kuroshitsuji premiered in 2008 and received a second season, titled Black Butler II, in 2010. In January 2014, they announced that the series would receive a new anime adaptation. Unlike previous seasons, this one would faithfully follow the manga, adapting the Noah's Ark Circus arc.

To continue the manga's timeline, in 2014, they announced the Phantomhive Manor Murders arc as 2 OVA's of 1 hour each, presented in Japanese cinemas on October 25 and November 15, 2014. In 2017, the Book of the Atlantic arc got a film adaptation.

Finally, Crunchyroll announced during its panel at Anime Expo 2023 that the anime would return with the Book of the Atlantic arc in 2024.
