Kusuriya at Hitorigoto is reaching the apex of the mysteries of season two, which are certainly connected with those of the previous season. Some open questions seem close to a solution, and just like in the first season, all events are likely to have some connection and a purpose.
Episode 42 , released on May 9, shows that Jinshi is close to discovering the reason for Shisui and Suii's involvement in the disappearance of Momao. Compared to episodes 40 and 41, which brought several revelations and left the emotions of the viewers to the skin, the current episode was quieter. However, it also brought a surprising discovery involving the Granada Palace Loulan consort.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto shows Jinshi at an unexpected meeting with Shenlü
At the beginning of the episode, when Jinshi visits the Jade Palace, it is reported that the Gyokuyo consort went into labor and that there is no risk of pelvic delivery. After visiting her, Jinshi discovers, through Gaoshun, that the missing eunuch, which is actually suire, used to attend the cemetery on the north side, where the girls deflowed by the former emperor are buried.
In the cemetery, Jinshi finds Shenlü, the lady who works at the clinic. She, who was putting flowers to one of the servants she had died, is scared when he asks about Moomao. However, what really terrifies Shenlü is Jinshi's similarity to the previous emperor, as she was one of the girls who suffered at the time he was in power.
Jinshi is deeply shaken by his comparison, since throughout his life he preferred to believe in the absence of any similarity to the previous emperor. In addition, Jinshi reflects on his past and reveals that to escape a little of his position as heir prince, he begged for the current emperor to change his identity. This is how he started pretending to be a eunuch and went to the so -called “Women's Garden”, where the consorts are.
Shenlü is startled by the meeting and tries to eat poison. However, the eunuchs with Jinshi can help her. This scene shows, once again, the horrors and marks that the previous emperor still leaves, even after his death, in the palace women. Also, knowing that Jinshi hates having any physical trait of man, shows that he also repudiates everything the previous emperor represents.
Jinshi discovers something surprising in Granada Palace
After taking Shenlü to medical care, Jinshi realizes that the tomb she was visiting is from Taihou, servant who organized the terror tales meeting, which took place in episode 34, entitled Haunted History . The servant was Lady of the company of Loulan's mother, at the time she was the palace concubine, before being delivered to Shishou.
Jinshi reflects on Taihou and remembers that she has a blood relative, a daughter she gave birth in the kingdom of the former emperor. At the end of the episode, Lahan, adopted son of strategist Lakan, shows an intriguing document for Jinshi, the National Treasury Receipt Diary. Through the document, the heir prince discovers that the price of coffee beans has increased, even without drought or grasshopper infestation. In addition, the price of iron is also high, which leads Lahan to suspect that there is someone building a large structure. However, there is no registration of any possible building.
Such a construction may be related to the village presented in the last episode, or it may be some other surprising structure. However, one thing is certain, only a few people could get so much metal, and the anime is close to telling us who is involved, since Lahan, appearing to have inherited the intelligence of the foster father, will begin an investigation.
