Synopsis:
The story takes place in a large country in the middle of the continent, however we meet Mao-mao, a young woman who works as a pharmacist in a Hanamachi (a neighborhood with several brothels). But her life changes when she is kidnapped and sold as a servant to the palace. But she hides the fact that she is a pharmacist, she works very quietly, waiting for the new year to arrive. One day, however, she hears a rumor from a co-worker that the emperor's children are dying one after another, and using her pharmacy knowledge, she discovers the cause.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto ( Diaries of an Apothecary ) now dubbed , began publication in October 2011 in Shousetsuka ni Narou and in physical format began publication in August 2014. Finally, the novel had two manga simultaneously, the first by Nekokurage published in Big Gangan and the second by Minoki Kurata published in Sunday Gene-X.
