To promote the second season of the anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries), the official website revealed a series of plant-related images, which will be released monthly.

Therefore, the images will be released seasonally, every 22nd of each month. The first image is titled 'Early Summer Lotus.' Season 2 premieres in 2025.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Synopsis:
The story takes place in a large country in the middle of the continent. However, we meet Mao-mao, a young woman who works as a pharmacist in a Hanamachi (a neighborhood with several brothels). But her life changes when she is kidnapped and sold as a servant to the palace. She hides the fact that she is a pharmacist, working very quietly, waiting for the new year to arrive. One day, however, she hears a rumor from a coworker that the emperor's sons are dying one after another, and using her knowledge of pharmacy, she discovers the cause.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto ( Diaries of an Apothecary ) now dubbed , began its publication in October 2011 in Shousetsuka ni Narou .
Finally, the novel had two manga , the first published in Big Gangan and the second published in Sunday Gene-X.
