A film adaptation of the manga Kyochuu Rettou has been announced for 2020 by Studio Passione . According to official information, the film is titled Kyochuu Rettou: The Island of Giant Insects.
The story takes place after a plane crash during a school trip. Oribe Mutsumi and her classmates are stranded on a seemingly deserted island. Mutsumi ends up finding other survivors and uses her knowledge to help them. She hopes they will be rescued in about three days, which doesn't seem like a long time. However, she hadn't considered the fact that the island is teeming with gigantic killer insects.
Finally, along with the anime 's official website , a trailer and character designs were also revealed.
