The anime arrives on January 11th on TVs in Japan.

Co-produced by Crunchyroll, Kyokou Suiri is animated by studio Brains Base , and directed by Keiji Gotoh (Kiddy Grade). The story is by Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!, Golden Kamuy, Kuroko's Basketball) and the character design is by Takatoshi Honda .

When she was still just a girl, Kotoko was kidnapped by a yokai. These spirits made her a powerful intermediary between the spirit world and the human world, but this power came at a price: an eye and a leg. Now, years later, she watches over dangerous yokai while developing feelings for a young man named Kuro, who is also special: an incident with a yokai gave him healing powers. He is surprised when Kotoko asks him to team up to deal with the renegade yokai, preserving the fine line between reality and the supernatural.
