The anime Kyokou Suiri or Invented Interface (In/Spectre) finally has its release date revealed. The manga by Kyo Shirodaira and Chasiba Katase will premiere in the Winter 2020 season, in January. Official Website
The animation is by the Brains Base and directed by Keiji Gotoh (Kiddy Grade).
The story is by Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!) with character designs by Takatoshi Honda (RIN-NE concept).
The story follows a girl named Kotoko who was kidnapped by yokai. These spirits transformed her into a powerful intermediary between the spirit and human worlds, but this power came at a price: an eye and a leg. Now, years later, she watches over dangerous yokai while developing feelings for the young Kuro, who is also special; an incident with a yokai gave him healing powers. He was surprised when Kotoko asked him to join her in dealing with renegade yokai, preserving the fine line between reality and the supernatural.

In/Spectre began its release in April 2015, based on a novel by Shirodaira (Spiral, The Record of a Fallen Vampire, Blast of Tempest). The manga ended on April 20, but a sequel began to be released on June 20, 2018.
