Tsurune Archery – Kyoto Animation's New Film Gets PV

The official Twitter account for the anime Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu has revealed that the franchise will be getting a film by Kyoto Animation titled Tsurune Archery .

Synopsis

When Minato Narumiya enters Kazemai High School, he is immediately invited to join the archery club at the request of his advisor, Professor Tommy, and his childhood friends Seiya Takehaya and Ryohei Yamanouchi. Already well-versed in the sport, they ask him to give a demonstration... but Minato's arrow misses the target.

The anime premiered in Japan in October 2018. Sentai Filmworks licensed and streamed the anime on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE while it aired in Japan.

Takuya Yamamura (director of episodes 7 and 12 of Violet Evergarden ) directed the anime at Kyoto Animation. Michiko Yokote ( Shirobako ) wrote the scripts. Miku Kadowaki ( Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid ) designed the characters. Harumi Fuuki composed the soundtrack. Lantis produced the music. Additionally, Luck Life performed the opening theme song "Naru" and ChouCho performed the ending theme song "Orange-iro."

Finally, the anime is inspired by the light novel by Kotoko Ayane and Chinatsu Morimoto that has been published since 2016 by Kyoto Animation , with 2 volumes so far.
