Kyoukai no Kanata (Gekijō-ban Kyōkai no Kanata - I'll Be Here), the first announced feature film, has released its drama-focused trailer. Remember that two films will be released to complete the series, which premiered in 2013. The premiere is on April 25th in Japan.
Kyoukai no Kanata is based on the light novel by Nagomu Torii, where the story revolves around Akihito Kanbara, a second-year high school student. Although his body appears human, he is half "youmu," and is immortal precisely for that reason. One day, Akihito meets the freshman Kuriyama Mirai when it seems she is about to jump off the school roof.
The series received an honorable mention in the novel category of the Kyoto Animation Award program in 2011.
