Kyoukai no Kanata (Gekijō-ban Kyōkai no Kanata - I'll Be Here), the first film announced, has received its trailer focused on the drama. Remember that two films will be released to complete the series that premiered in 2013. The premiere takes place on April 25th in Japan.
Kyoukai no Kanata is based on the light novel by Nagomu Torii, where the story revolves around Kihito Kanbara, a second-year boy. Although his body appears human, he is half "youmu," and is immortal for that very reason. One day, Akihito meets freshman Kuriyama Mirai when she appears to be about to jump off the school roof.
The series received an honorable mention in the romance category of the Kyoto Animation Award program in 2011.
